Kathy Griffin

I frankly would have expected better sense from a fifty six year old. Her on going dislike of President Trump; and her obvious belief that she could say and do  any thing she wanted about him. This was certainly fueled by what has become a drum beat of hateful comments coming out of Hollywood. I am sure that among the Hollywood A listers that she runs around with this was thought of as funny. It is an example of where Hollywood (the movie industry) thinks. The actors in Hollywood believe that they are the main stream.  I would have thought that even they would have learned different. That the progressive anti white male stance they have taken has created a backlash.

I shudder to think what will happen when someone photo shops a bloody Obama's face over the trump face. The hows of outrage will rattle the windows of the Whitehouse. I think if Kathy Griffin had even thought for one second what would happen if this had been an Obama's head or to take the racial issue out of the picture a Bill Clinton's head she would not have done it. Sadly I fell that this is a meme that is going to haunt the web for a long time to come and we will see Kathy Griffin holding many different heads.

Kathy Griffins has apologized but she said that she was just doing what comedians do. pushing the line to get a laugh. I came away thinking that she isn't really sorry that she posted such and awful picture but that she is sorry because of the unexpected response. I think that she still thinks it s what a comedian does but it is just too edgy for most people. In order to try and recover she has gone on you tube to set herself up as the victim. In my opinion she has no one to blame but her self and she has made it obvious that she feels that the backlash is being orchestrated by Trump and his people rather than the outrage of middle class America. Here best response here is to shut up and take her medicine. Plus maybe make a real apology were she says that it was in poor taste rather than just what a comedian does.
